WHAT DID THESE TO US?

WHAT DID THESE TO US?

When our clerics preach prosperity, not morals, not holiness. You have just lost a loved one and religious bodies can only console you by leveraging on your loss to donate millions to Churches and Mosques.

When appointment into political positions is by sentiments and influences not hardworking, ability or technocracy and a political office holder serving the people earns monthly the National budget of smaller functional nations.

When politics and public office or office holding is a career for looting and looters.

When public figures and celebrities who are supposed to be role models damage the future of our Futures.

When our youths no longer believe in hardwork(ing) but cutting of corners which they term smartwork(ing) and for fun or whatever reasons, engage in alcoholism and substance abuses .

When Media houses who are supposed to be watch dogs and fourth in the realm of estate, are owned by politicians who massacre our National reserves. They get National awards and are celebrated as heroes of our time.

When farmers are in cities commercialising as motorcyclists to manufacture human casualties.

What did these to us and at what point did we get it all wrong!

When judgement is perverted and the innocents suffer .When the innocents rot in jail without trial.

When there is blood shedding by carelessness and by strategy.

When people rob with pen to donate to earn public honours and we eulogise them and doff our sacred hats for them as mentors and great men.

When they rob with rituals, looting the Central bank to vomit monies in secret rooms.

When we patronise religious homes on weekends, singing Halleluyahs, lifting up bloodstained and dirty hands but are full time prostitutes, murderers, evil workers, during the week.

When you cannot get licenses to practice professionally without having to bribe your way through.

When all we have are round pegs in square holes.

When hemps are publicly displayed in markets as wares  and preached as sources of inspiration without attaching cautions.

Our ineptitude to state the obvious truth and stand by it regardless of the consequences has dealt terribly with us.
Our ability to make a law and immediately violate it with impunity has brought us thus far.
When there are no consequences for wrongs and violations of  rules,BUT,
there is hope for a tree that is cut down as long as it root remains, there is hope that it will spring forth again.
There are a lot of evil going on in the land, the list is inexhaustible but the answer to the puzzle is ; If my people who are called by name will humble themselves, pray and turn from their wicked ways then I will forgive their sins and will heal their land. This is very important in Nigeria especially now. God can only look down from heaven in our case when we decide to invite him, else things can only get worse than they are presently.

SHALOM.

    2. Let the wicked forsake his way and the unrighteous man his thoughts and let him return unto The LORD and He will have mercy upon him and to our God for He abundantly pardon Isaiah 55:7 the common man sell votes so let all of us be repentant and not be self centered again

    3. This issue of common man and selling of votes in Nigeria, hmmm, some say it is as a result of poverty but do we totally agree on poverty being responsible?

  2. Enter your comment...Are will not praying enough in Nigeria today? is Nigeria not the most religious country in the whole world today compare to the number of churches in the country? To me this is a matter of attitudinal change on the part of our leaders & we citizens. God will not come down from heaven & help us He has done his own part let us do our own too.
