Death on Christmas day

What have you to say?
This has gone so viral on facebook.
I may not know them but this is pathetic and really sad. To think that the sad occurrence happened on Christmas day,in the midst of joy and happiness. Its indeed a Christmas to remember for their family and friends. Crossing to the other side of eternity is very easy and takes just few seconds.
May God keep the rest of us and may he help us to live our lives to please him so that at whenever it may be since no one is so sure of his/her time,we shall be counted worthy to live in pleasant eternity.
May God give their family and relatives the fortitude to bear this huge loss.
May the soul of the departed RIP.

FAMILY.FUN.GAMES

I hear people say Family is everything. Really,everything is Family. The family is the most important unit of the society,it determines so much the  temperature of any society.
There is also a saying that the  Family that prays together stay together. I personally love to add that the family that prays and plays together stay together. The place of play cannot be jettisoned in any relationship that must continue to flourish and have positive effects on the actors.

More often, when one feels rejection from non family members, the effect may not be as intense as when it is one's family members rejecting one.It could be suicidal. When a child receives bully and hate speeches from the world but if in the home, there are encouraging words,the pressure from the outside world may be less effective especially when it is a family that really stays together.

In the West,there are recreational centres,relaxation centres that are appealing and psychologically inviting .

In Africa,we also have our means of relaxing with family and  friends in joints and local game houses like I see in some villages and settings but I doubt if in Africa,we really  recreate or have relaxing fun with family members as some persons do not even visit those  few places until they are overwhelmed with family problems and the purpose of the relaxation is to drink away (Alcohol)your sorrows.

Everyone is busy hustling for daily Bread and therefore we hardly engage in Fun and games especially in busy cities.
Having vacation holidays are very important and sine qua non to our total wellbeing, it rejuvenates us and enables us carry on again.

Families should therefore make out memorable dates and time for holiday travels for the sole purpose of recreations and plays. One can also decorate one's house for such purpose. It helps solidify and bond relationship. Such plays should also engage all categories of persons in the family. The special dates could be birth date of family members,Mother's day,Independence day,Father's day,Christmas Breaks(Family camping could be included).
The Nigerian economy may not encourage one to consider this but honestly,occasionally its just good that one closes up against every negativity around and just catch your fun. Visiting Cinemas also could be part of it as we  now have modern Cinemas and Game houses where we can catch some fun with family and friends by horse riding,Quizzical games for the younger folks etc.

Now is one of those periods we can really recreate,its December,end of the year period,while we do not forget the reason for the season,being alive,one deserves to also catch some fun and get some energies through recreation,It will help you get better and efficient .


That's the way to go.Have fun please.

Seeing all these, I think we should return to the primitive ways our forefathers and ancient parents lived especially when it comes to living long considering our diets and lifestyle.

THANKSGIVING PERIOD

If there is anything one should be grateful for,now,I think one of it is mental stability, being sane.
Recently, I started seeing a very beautiful woman at a particular location of my daily route. She is a paragon of beauty but she is not in control of her senses. She is very tall,dark,ovally faced,well shaped with straight legs. During the day and at night(according to residents) she is sitting glued to the refuse dump and only moves around to stroll or buy foods with the alms she gets from passerby(s).She is an epitome of beauty but not in control of her own existence and thoughts.

Few years ago,I was in a commercial vehicle when two men came with a blind man pleading with passengers  that someone should help him(the blindman) alight at the Bus terminal of interstate luxury buses. He was leaving Lagos for portharcourt. I opted to help and as a result I started a conversation between us. He narrated his experience that he once had his sight and was doing well but that he was driving his car on a day when suddenly there was a storm,he went blind immediately and this led to a fatal accident. He eventually did undergo some surgeries and thanked God for life  and he has since being in pursuance of the restoration of his sight. He came alone to Lagos to see a renowned popular miracle worker pastor but was denied access to him .While on his way to Lagos,he was robbed of his money and possessions and had to beg to raise funds for him to return to portharcourt his base.


Although one may not have it all in terms of material blessings or as desired,when you have sanity and sight,even when one has them not but still have  life,thanksgiving to God should never cease from one's life this period especially if you believe there is a God in charge of life.

WOMEN AND SUPPORT SYSTEM

It is not good that a woman should be alone,I will make her a support system.

To be a woman ordinarily is an herculean task. The peculiarity of a woman's make-up demands extra help because she was made to be a helpmeet for a man as that was the original plan by the Creator,meaning ,she has so much on her hands and desk. This age and time makes her task a little more demanding considering the world economy and many other things.
That a woman is married to a man,she needs a  support system,how much more when she starts engaging in baby making. Being married alone for a woman is hardwork especially in places like Africa as demands range from house chores to care for the man(especially if the man is the type that cannot even help wash his own tea cup),to in-law palaver especially if the babies don't start pouring in immediately. (Now,the demand is, the lady must be pregnant first before payment of bride price. Wahala). 

It is tougher for the woman,if she is now a financial contributor or even has a better paying job(career wife and mum at  the same time?).A lot of times,people around are headaches and reasons for stress(stressors). With so much terrible in-laws and inconsiderate or irresponsible spouses,some, have achieved heaven or hell prematurely and some children,orphaned. Wisdom is applicable to direct.
When the society and people around  stigmatises women who had caesarean operation during birth delivery and they say our foremothers had their home managements with no house helps while their husbands crossed their legs and enjoyed their meals(times have changed please).Some women are actually macho women though,I don't know how they do it and where they pick their strength from as they are seen having three children within a space of four years and some of them through C.S,yet with inconsiderate spouses(who ensures they resume copulation and normal duties  less than six weeks after childbirth with no time to heal)  and no reliable support system. One even hears some women preach saying the sound doctrine of our assembly says Family planning is not Biblical and should not be considered. At the end of it all,realisation is late.

 I do not advocate that women should disrespect their husbands or dishonour them but both parties should see to ensure that they are the support system of each other and in the event that one may not be reliably available for home management and help,services of reliable support system should be jointly welcomed and agreed  for every member of the home to have a good life.

It should be Umntu Ngumntu Uganbantu. Ubuntu, meaning I AM BECAUSE YOU ARE,we are because you are and since you are,definitely i am,together everyone achieves more&Stays Alive.
